The Semrush API documentation is now organized by API versions.

You can use the version selector to switch between Version 3 (v3) and Version 4 (v4) documentation, including API references, authorization guides, and version-specific resources.

This release also introduces v3 and v4 API keys. API keys are now version-specific:

v3 API keys can be used only with Version 3 APIs.
v4 API keys can be used only with Version 4 APIs.

The Projects API v4 is now available with API key authorization.

Previous Projects API v3 and Projects API v4 (OAuth 2.0) methods are deprecated but remain operational temporarily.

The Listing Management API tutorial and Local API overview now describe the current Listing Management API. The updated guidance covers:

Renamed fields and partial location updates with PATCH and update_mask.
Create-location support and limit/offset pagination.
Listing workflows such as Get Listings.

Local API resources now include reusable Listing Management object descriptions. These descriptions make related endpoint parameters and responses easier to interpret.

Create Location and Delete Location.
Get Listings.
Listing actions: Enable Listing and Disable Listing.
Image management: Create Image, Get Images, Update Image, and Delete Image.
Get Payment Options and Get More Hour Types.

Previous Listing Management API methods are deprecated but remain operational temporarily.
